Proper Usage Instructions

Weight can fluctuate by up to 3kg and Body Fat Percent by more than 2% throughout the day due to individual eating habits and daily routines. However, this margin can be minimized by maintaining the correct measurement conditions and posture.
1.
Optimal Measurement Conditions
Recommended Time: Measure in the morning on an empty stomach.
Recommended Conditions: After visiting the restroom, before exercise, or before showering.
Avoid drinking water right before the measurement.
2.
Correct Posture
Leg Position : Ensure your thighs do not touch. If they do, wear light clothing and try again.
Foot Position : Place both feet properly on the electrodes, ensuring your heels do not touch each other.
Arm position : If your model includes handlebars, keep your arms at a 45-degree angle and ensure your arms do not touch your sides. If your arms and underarms come into contact, wear a lightweight T-shirt during the measurement.

Optimal Measurement Environment
Ensure your hands and feet are sufficiently moist and clean the scale with a damp tissue to maintain moisture before measurement.
Remove any metallic items, including jewelry, before measurement.
Avoid measuring near electronic devices, power outlets, or directly under fluorescent lights.

How to Hold the Hand Bar (Applicable to iGrip series only)

iGrip1 (Upper/Lower Long Rod Electrodes)

a.
Hold the hand bar with the L/R marks facing upward, and place your thumbs pointing downward.
b.
Position your thumbs sideways so the entire fingerprint is evenly in contact with the electrode. Ensure the other fingers also make uniform contact with the electrode surface.
*If you grip it too tightly, like making a fist, the measurement may fail.

iGrip1_FR302 (Upper Long Rod Electrode + Lower Small Thumb Electrode)

a.
Hold the hand bar with the L/R marks facing downward, and place your thumbs pointing downward.
b.
Position your thumbs sideways so the entire fingerprint is evenly in contact with the electrode. Ensure the other four fingers also make uniform contact with the electrode surface.
*If you grip it too tightly, like making a fist, the measurement may fail.

iGrip2, iGripX

a.
Hold the hand bar with the L/R marks facing downward, and place your thumbs pointing downward.
b.
Place your thumbs so that the entire fingerprint is evenly in contact with the front triangular electrode, applying pressure mainly through the center of the thumb.
c.
Ensure the other four fingers are also uniformly in contact with the electrode surface using the entire fingerprint. *If the thumb touches only part of the triangular electrode (e.g., only the lower side) or if the fingers make slanted contact, poor contact may cause the measurement to fail.
